Great Oaks Legacy Charter School is a free, public, open-enrollment Pre-K–12 network and the only fully Newark-based K–12 charter network. Families choose GOLCS because we offer something rare: a safe, small, caring community that delivers big results and welcomes your whole family into ours. There is no entrance exam or admissions test—GOLCS is open to all Newark families through a public lottery on NewarkCommonApp.org.
