A CULTURE OF DISCIPLINE AND LEARNING

Each GOLCS campus features safe and structured learning and working environments with a consistent culture with a focus on academics. Great Oaks Legacy is a place where students are kind to each other — no bullying, no fighting; nothing unsafe is tolerated.

Great Oaks Legacy teachers are highly qualified and teach a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that covers traditional academic subjects. Students earn their grades by the level of effort they make to meet the Great Oaks Legacy standard. We hire teachers who share a firm belief that all students can and will learn. Our teachers partner with families to optimize learning both inside and outside the classroom.

SCHOLAR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Faculty and staff know every student, not just by name, but who the student is as an individual. Parent/guardians of students receive weekly phone calls from campus staff, and all students receive check-in calls from teachers or the School Leadership Team from time to time. The school door is ALWAYS open for parents!

FAMILY PARTNERSHIP

At GOLCS, parents/guardians play an important role at our campuses. Each campus strives to host monthly meetings to provide opportunities for parents/guardians to learn more about our campuses and voice their questions and perspectives. We encourage all GOLCS families to play an active role in campus meetings and look forward to your partnership.
